What is YBFIC?

Young, Black Femme In Charge (YBFIC), LLC  is an executive coaching firm dedicated to equipping Black femmes with the confidence and competence to take charge—whether that’s of their career trajectory, their work-life integration,  their teams, or their business. YBFIC, LLC is here to help you maximize your impact without minimizing yourself.

Unlike most leadership programs that rely on “tried and true” methods that often overlook the unique hurdles and circumstances Black femmes face, YBFIC centers and celebrates how your identities impact your leadership journey. 

Every aspect of YBFIC, LLC programming—whether a 1:1 Strategy Session, a Small-Group Coaching Package, or a Full-Service Individualized Coaching Package—is designed around the real-life experiences of thousands of YBFICs across industries. We’ve seasoned those “tried and true” leadership adages and approaches so you can lead effectively and unapologetically.

More than just an executive coaching firm, YBFIC, LLC is a legacy project, inspired by the pride, resilience, and the expectation of excellence passed down from Maya’s late mother, a corporate attorney and entrepreneur, and her grandmother before her, a corporate banking executive and real estate investor—the original YBFICs (shown on the right).
